Herbster Wood Fired Anagama Workshop
Cool Down
Once temperature is reached, the kiln is shut down. Several days are needed for the Anagama to cool down to temperatures that allow for unloading. During this time, participants are encouraged to explore the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and beautiful Bayfield County. Surrounding communities include Cornucopia, Bayfield, Washburn, Duluth, Superior, and Ashland.
